Electronic Diagnostic Record (EDR)

ElectRIS is the Electronic Diagnostic Record (EDR) integrating a Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) with a Radiology Information System (RIS). Following extensive research, development and implementation, ElectRIS provides broad geographic electronic connectivity between diagnostic imaging facilities and a central-based web archive of complete patient examinations and reports to support substantial cost savings through effi ciencies as well as enhancement in the quality of patient care. The RIS services are modular and scalable, offering users both “front-end” and “back-end” services.

In order to meet the fiscal and patient quality demands of the future, all medical providers will need to aspire to new efficiency standards. The EDR, when combined with a patient’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR), facilitates a true Electronic Health Record (EHR). A patient’s EHR will be available 24/7 anywhere broadband connectivity is available, or may be stored on an individual’s computer, USB or disc device.”
